Gozo D.O.K ‘Superior’
This Vermentino wine is produced from handpicked grapes with an average yield of 50 hL per hectare. It is grown in the Ta’ Mena Vineyards in the San Raflu Valley which overlooks the famous Azure Window. It is fermented and matured for 6 to 9 months in stainless steel tanks in rigidly controlled temperatures. It presents a typical Gozitan character due to its island effect presenting traces of salt. It is pleasant on the palate thanks to a nice acidity and refreshing flavours with a good after taste structure.
It is best served at 8°C and is very refreshing during the summer months.
