Wind Range

The particularity of our Gozo DOK Wines is due to the so called ‘Island Effect’ characterised by traces of sea-salt blown into our vineyards by the different winds coming from all directions.

We have named these wines after some of the most important winds namely:

Sciroc – the South East Wind
Gregal – the North East Wind
Tramont – the North Wind
Maestral – the North West Wind.

Sciroc Red Wine - Merlot - Cabernet

This red wine is produced from 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon grown and handpicked from the Ta’ Mena Estate in the Marsalforn Valley.

Maestral Dry White Wine

This medium dry white wine is fermented and aged in strictly controlled temperatures to preserve the particular Mediterranean aromas.

Gregal - Rose Wine

This Rosé wine is produced from selected grapes handpicked from the Ta’ Mena Estate vineyards at Marsalforn Valley.

Tramont - Red Wine

This red wine is produced from selected grapes with an average yield of 47 hL per hectare from the Ta’ Mena Estate.
